So let me start with a story. It will be a short one.

I am mostly financially independent because I had big career in one of biggest IT corporations for 15 years.

So, money is not an issue.

Nonetheless, I am always researching how can I use my hobbies to earn some money aside, just for fun.

So, I have relatively good presence online:

• 4 YouTube channels. 3 monetized
• 10k+ Instagram followers
• Written 2 books
• Founder of semi-popular website (around 10k views monthly)

So having said all that and looking at many videos and articles online how allegedly people earn from 100$ to 1000$ per day in affiliate marketing or by using ads or any other method, it almost made me puke.

This is all nonsense. People are sharing wrong and false data most of the time. Or they already have something like million followers so then it’s easy for them to make money whatever they do.

I mean just think about it — if you have million followers and hypothetically publish a book that has no words. So completely blank book. 1% of people will buy it.

And then they are selling the same strategy to you who have perhaps 1000 or 10000 followers.

It’s not even the same game. The same playfield. It is like Djokovic is playing tennis against me and I have a chance to win even one game.

So, what I wanted to say — 99 percent of people with fancy thumbnails on YouTube or wherever, telling you how to earn thousands of dollars per month or day are completely fake.

And to be more concrete about this — ask yourself always one question and this:

“If they’re making so much money in affiliate marketing or in any other category. Why are they making YouTube videos every day sharing their advices on how to make money? Shouldn’t they be spending their time somewhere else. Because making Youtube videos everyday is not an easy task.”

It does not make any sense.

Most people online (even the most famous ones with 1M+ followers) are almost complete scammers.

Sure, you can learn a thing or two but don’t get fooled by them.

And especially don’t get fooled by people who say that they published 100 AI written articles on their blog and they are making money.

All scam.

More people should write about this.
