When people decide to become social media creators or influencers, their goal is generally to grow as quickly as they can.

However, taking shortcuts will surely bite you.

People love giveaways and it’s a fast way to grow. Doing them alone to celebrate milestones is one thing.

Joining them with other creators on giveaway pages opens you up to hundreds of followers. Ghost followers, that is.

Follow Loops

Follow loops are essentially the same thing except they’re done by other creators taking shortcuts.

If you follow someone simply for the follow back, especially without seeing their page, you probably won’t be apt to engage, and neither will they.

From experience, it will hurt you incredibly.
